Attendees to this program will develop an interest in Julie's books. They will learn how Julie became an award winning author and about England and the places her books are based on.
Everyone enjoyed Julie's presentation, learning how books are made -- from the covers, stories, editing, publishing etc. Participants learned about things in England like manors, "squints", and the locations in her books. They learned how Julie started out to become a writer, and the various jobs she has had along the way. Comments include: "I enjoyed seeing how Julie's books were set and hearing about the research and book covers (the work, photos, models, and all come together.)" " I have never listened to a published author before - this was an enjoyable time. I learned a lot...book research, style of setting. Interesting to hear about how & why she began writing."
