Participants on this bus trip will tour some of the most historic places in Minnesota: tour of the Minnesota State Capitol remodeling, architecture, history and chambers; tour of the Wabasha Street Caves where the history dates back to the 1840s; and Gangster Tour to learn about the nefarious underworld past of St. Paul

Participants will learn about the history, architecture, laws, and more during the tour of the newly renovated State Capitol. They will also learn about some of the 'seedy' history of the state and it's gangsters of the past.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Participants learned a lot about the history of MN during this tour. Comments received include: "I didn't realize there were any gangsters in St. Paul and was surprised to learn how famous some of them were." "Glad the state spent the money on the capitol renovation - it is beautiful." "Was interesting to hear about all the hard work that went into the capitol restoration project."
