Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees will experience a historical re-enactment of Civil War battles and other historically accurate activities of the time including children's games, camp activities etc. -- a wonderful history lesson for all participants.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Much was learned by all including how the soldiers survived, what supplies they carries, and what they ate. Participants learned that children were used in the war, about the clothing of the time, and crafts practiced such as yarn winding, quilting and knitting. Many enjoyed watching the reenactment battles and learned about the displays of weapons used. "This was a wonderful opportunity to make history come alive through the talks given, reenactment, displays, and people dressed in period clothing."
