Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

1)Attendees will learn about one of the most notorious ax murders in history, which took place in this area of Minnesota 2) Attendees will hear from a local author about the writing/publishing process.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Attendees learned many things about a locally infamous murder case. This book is historical fiction - however MN author Marty Seifert completed a lot of research into the topic, so much of the book is true (with embellished details added.) Attendees learned what may have actually happened, and what were long standing local rumors, surrounding this infamous case. In survey responses, attendees remarked that they enjoyed hearing the story - but also liked hearing Marty talk about his research process, and how he got his book published.
