The wizardry of Celtic winds and strings comes alive in this duo of Andrea Stern and Laura MacKenzie. Willow Brae weaves delightful Irish folktales, stories, and music created by their unique combination of Celtic harp and wind instruments.

We distributed evaluation forms to each participant after the program. We hoped that patrons would be exposed to a new type of music, and that their understanding and appreciation of Celtic music would increase. We also hoped that they might learn something new, and enjoy themselves!

Measurable Outcome(s)

92% of respondents said that this program increased their understanding and appreciation of Celtic music. 82% said that they enjoyed this program because it helped them to better understand a topic, and increase their knowledge. 87% said that this program increased their interest in Irish culture, Celtic music, and/or wind and string instruments. 97% said that they would attend a similar program in the future. Public comments included, 'lovely music and much talent. Truly enjoy these programs' and, 'it touched my heart, please have them come back.'
