We distributed evaluation forms after each program. We expect that Arn's presentation will teach all participants something new about the Fur Trade, and especially Minnesota's role in it. We also expect that the audience will grow more interested in our state's history.
99% of respondents said that they learned something new about the Fur Trade by watching this program. 97% said that after watching they have increased their knowledge and better understand this topic. 88% said that this program increased their interest in Minnesota's history, and 98% said they would like to attend a similar program in the future. Comments collected from the public include: 'Arn Kind is the only person who can get 5-6 graders to sit for 2.5 hours and love learning about MN history! What a great program!' and 'This program was one of the very best I've attended! Expertise, detailed history presented creatively and fascinating! Excellent and engaging presenter!'
In Warroad the school theater was provided free of charge; In Hallock the school theater was provided free of charge and set up and clean up were provided; In Greenbush the FOL brought snacks and water bottles, helped to set up and clean up.
