Dazzling Dave: National Yo-Yo Master
Dazzling Dave toured our region as part of our Summer Reading Program. He is a professional yo-yo performer whose freakish tricks and tips have entertained, educated and inspired audiences for decades.

We hope that this program will provide a show that most of our patrons have never seen before. We also hope that it will increase patrons' interest in juggling and/or performance art. Dave is very instructional in his performance, and we hope that through his guidance and book recommendations, kids will leave feeling inspired. We will distribute evaluations after the program.
99% of respondents said that through this program they experienced something new at their library. 68% said that they enjoyed this program because it helped them to learn a new skill. 87% said that this program increased their interest in juggling and performance art. Comments included, 'what a great program for a small town to bring people of all ages together! Everyone learned something new about yo-yos!' and 'LOVE the summer reading program, the kids love coming to the library every week!'
