Robin Anders: Drums and Percussion of the World
Robin Anders returned to our region to present this program, during which patrons learned about drums from five continents, and heard a performance from each. Anders is a percussionist, composer, multi-instrumentalist, educator, performer, sound engineer and producer. He finished the program with a large group drumming circle.

We distributed evaluations to patrons after each program. We hoped that patrons would increase their understanding and appreciation of percussion instruments and music. We hoped that patrons would learn something, and enjoy a different style of musical concert.
86% of respondents said that after this program they increased their understanding and appreciation of percussion instruments and music. 89% said that they enjoyed this program because it helped them to increase their knowledge or better understand a topic. 64% said that this program increased their interest in percussion, and 89% said that they would attend a similar program in the future. Public comments included, 'incredible talent! Very fascinating!' and, 'lots of different cultures represented by drums, great demonstration, he engaged the students.'
