Jim Mondloch: Watercolor Painting
Jim Mondloch visited the Roseau High School to lead a workshop where students worked with color, texture, values, design and various washes and brushstrokes. This workshop had a limited number of participants, so that patrons could have extra attention and/or help as they created their own works of art.

We hoped that this would be an instructional and inspirational workshop where patrons could learn something new about watercolor painting, and also possibly find a new outlet for creative expression. We hoped interest in this subject matter would increase. We distributed evaluations after each program.
100% of respondents said that after participating in this program they had learned something new about watercolor techniques. 80% said that they enjoyed this program because it helped them learn a new skill. 100% said that this program increased their interest in this artist, painting and/or watercolor techniques. Comments included, 'I loved this! I would do it again!' and, 'Jim's love of art really came through.'
This program was hosted by the Roseau High School, which made this program more affordable due to his existing residency there.
