Talking Strings: The Story of Gypsy Music
In this exciting, energetic and interactive program, learn about the history and evolution of Gypsy music, and about a variety of musical instruments played by Romany musicians in various regions across Europe and around the globe.
We distributed evaluation forms to patrons after the program. We hoped that participants would increase their understanding of Romani history and culture, and that they would be exposed to new instruments and music styles.
