Teddy Bear Band
Since 1985 the Teddy Bear Band has joyfully engaged children, families, and stuffed friends with entertainment that encourages active participation and high levels of FUN. This Minnesota Music Award winning band even received a proclamation for September 10th as Teddy Bear Band Day throughout Minnesota! Their concert is educational for children, and fun for everyone.

We distributed evaluation forms to all patrons following the end of the concert. We hoped that the patrons would enjoy the concert, and that children would learn through the educational songs, and maybe become more interested in music and performance art.
80% of respondents said that they enjoyed listening to the music and dancing along. 83% said that they enjoyed this program because it helped them to spend quality time with friends and family. 60% said that this program increased their interest in music and/or performing. 80% said that they would attend a similar program in the future. Public comments included, 'the kids were learning things and didn't even know it,' and, 'it was all group participation and the kids loved it- they were spelling words, following instructions, they were mesmerized.'
In Hallock, the use of City Hall was provided free of charge. In Warren, the school provided the theater and cleaned up after the event.
