Project Overview

WTIP and the Cook County Historical Society will partner to research and produce six 5-10 minutes features on historical topics or events that took place in Cook County, MN. Topics could include Midwifery in Cook County, early 20th century fires, Grand Marais theatre and music events, etc.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

A greater awareness of the history of our area thru the radio broadcasts and access at the Historical Society. ACH will be interwoven into facets of community life. People will trust Minnesota's stewardship of public arts, culture and history funding. ACH will thrive in Minnesota. There will be an increase in the number of Minnesotans of all ages, ethnicities, abilities and incomes who participate ACH. Creation of collaborations between organizations.
