Project Overview

This program brings the past to the present by including stories which have been passed from generation to generation, about living the Ojibwe way of life. Each show explores different ways to live and conduct oneself in harmony with the nature, taking only what is needed to live and survive and leaving the rest for future generations. This yearlong program focuses on the culture of the Ojibwe people.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

Increased interest in Native American culture through weekly programs targeting underserved audience in our listening area. A result of listening to this program will increase interest in the culture of Indians in Minnesota. Survey of listeners will allow KOJB to determine the success of the educational aspects of the program.
