Collect and air music from live studio performances and air them as hour-long radio specials, to extend performance availability and impact.
$1,470,000 the first year and $1,666,000 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.19.
1) Survey: Listeners will report that they have more knowledge, information and access to the arts
2) Estimated audience: Radio audience will be estimated and will remain strong as determined by fundraising response and feedback from listeners. (The northern MN radio market is not measured with statistical accuracy)
3) Participant comparison to resident population: Track gender and cultural backgrounds of musicians to assure that the program presents music that reflects the population of the area
4) Feedback from musicians and listeners: Feedback will be collected from musicians and the audience via social media, email, survey responses, anecdotes, etc. Feedback should illustrate that the program is meeting the desired outcomes of the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund
5) Audit: The organization will demonstrate its fiscal responsibility through a clean audit that fairly represents the finances of Northern Community Radio
