$1,470,000 the first year and $1,666,000 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.19.
More Minnesotans of all ages, ethnicities, abilities, and income will have access to artistic, cultural, and historical programmingMinnesotans (especially teachers) will have easier access to locally focused content and Minnesota focused content produced by public radio which will also increase the number of local artists, historians, writers, and others who have their work showcased through public radioThe project will help increase awareness and knowledge of history and how it affected people's lives so that it can help Minnesotans to make informed decisions in the future
This project consists of guest essays from local writers and essayists, read by the writer. Essays will air on a new weekly program, Stay Human
