Leigh Kamman was an internationally known broadcaster and supporter of jazz music who was on the air in Minnesota. This program shares the vast archive and legacy of Minnesota jazz history and interviews with jazz musicians created by this legendary Minnesota broadcaster.
$1,470,000 the first year and $1,666,000 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.19.
Listeners will gain an awareness of the depth of jazz talent in the Twin Cities. Interviews go back decades, and they provide a rich history of jazz in the Twin Cities.
