Project Overview

Fingerstyle Masters Weekend is a two day event consisting of a musicians circle performance concert Friday night, 3 workshops on Saturday for all age and levels, and a concert Saturday night. The event is intended to bring the access and availibility of first rate high quality workshops conducted by talented musicians to all ages and levels of people who want to learn or deepen their level of the technique fingerstyle guitar.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The festival will engage diverse communities, reach Minnesotans of all ages, create new partnerships, and broadly share content and information about arts, Minnesota history, or culture. Increase in the locally focused content with regional artists and writers with Minnesota focused content produced & showcased by public radio. We are also creating opportunities for artists to earn income based on their art.
