Project Overview

This project will vividly bring to the life the culture of traditional Anishinaabeg through inter-generational seasonal family camps together with Sahkahtay, a nonprofit organization which dedicated to the survival of and revival of the Anishnaabeg traditions of ricing, trapping, harvesting, and story telling.

Arts, culture and history will be interwoven into every facet of community life. People will trust Minnesota's stewardship of public arts, culture and history funding. There will be an increase in the locally focused content and Minnesota focused content produced by public radio.
