$1,470,000 the first year and $1,666,000 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.19.

The program will continue to attract a strong audience as determined by fundraising response and feedback from listenerTrack number, ages and cultural backgrounds of program participants to assure that the program reflects the population of the areaTrack and list to assure the program covers diverse parts of the listening regionCollected feedback from participants and the audience will reflect the priorities of the ACHF, such as preservation of historic resources and events for future generations, expanded knowledge about cultural heritage, the audience's experience of a creative skill, etc. The organization will assure fiscal responsibility through a clean audit that fairly represents the finances of Northern Community Radio
With the support of Minnesota musicians featured in KFAI's "Live from Minnesota" concert series, KFAI will produce up to 500 cassette tapes featuring songs from the series. Tapes will be distributed free via social media contests, and at local concerts and events. The purpose is to promote Minnesota musicians and raise awareness about MinneCulture.
