Project Overview

This radio show vividly brings to life, the epic stories of people and the landscape of the Anishinaabeg Aking. Some of the topics include visiting local communities and hearing the voices of both elders and youth. People interviewed will be of diverse backgrounds and of diverse skills. KKWE will broadcast traditional as well as contemporary artists.

KKWE produced twenty Mawadising: The Visiting Place sessions during the 2019-2019 grant period.
