This project will bring forth the History of the Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge located in Becker County Minnesota. It will feature historical stories of plants, animals and people directly connected to the Refuge

$1,470,000 the first year and $1,666,000 the second year are to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.19.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

This program will weave history into local community life. It will increase the number of Minnesotans of all ages, ethnicities, abilities and incomes who participate in learning history. People will continue to trust Minnesota's stewardship of public arts, culture and history funding. History will thrive in Minnesota. People of Minnesota will have an increased knowledge and awareness of the way that histtory affects people's lives and how that knlwledge can help pepole make informed decisions in the future.
