Z Puppets Rosenschnoz Present the Secret Life of Puppets
The intended outcome of the program is to stimulate patron imagination and creativity. It will educate kids about being brave, facing adversity, being a good friend and working together. It will also expose patrons to new art formats. As well as create access to professional live art (music and theatre). Live art is dynamic; patrons can experience and be inspired by the energy that comes from a live performance.
Surveys were distributed to participants at all programs. 72% strongly agreed that this was an enjoyable experience and 66% strongly agreed that they would attend a similar event. Participants liked the participation and being able to take home information to continue the creative process at home. As well as seeing the behind the scenes point of view and how puppets can be made with very simple inexpensive materials. Participants learned how to create puppets with basic common materials, breathe life into puppets, and how to add character through creative thinking.
