Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The intended outcome of the arts program is to allow patrons the opportunity to create hands-on art projects and develop their skills as visual artists, such as creative problem solving, self-expression, small motor development, etc. A survey was distributed to receive feedback from those attending the programs.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Surveys were distributed to participants at all programs. 90% strongly agreed that this was an enjoyable experience and 85% strongly agreed that they would attend a similar event. Comments: Learning something new and putting it into practice and I got to bring something home! Finding out about a whole new craft that I knew nothing about. Awesome to have senior citizens and kids working around the same table.

Source of Additional Funds

21 libraries provided space (1 partnered for a program to be held at a school), staff, and additional promotion for the programs and approximately 15 regional newspapers provided marketing through press releases, photos and interviews with artists and performers.
