Participants will come away with a better idea of how to approach writing, will be motivated to begin writing their own stories, and will be introduced to & become better acquainted with a new genre & author.
Measurable Outcome(s)
Attendees learned more about the writing process & about wrining in general; for example that showing is better than simply 'telling.' From these lessens attendees are also now better able to analyze and critique literature -- in addition they were motivated to begin their own writing.
