Patrons will learn about Nate Jorgenson's books, his history of growing up in a rural area of Minnesota, and how to self-publish books.
Seven evaluations completed. Patrons were asked to rate the program with the scale being: "Great, Very Good, Average, Below Average, or Poor." Two (2) patrons rated the program "Great" and five (5) rated the program "Very Good." A 100% positive rating. All seven (7) patrons indicated they would "Yes" attend another program of this kind. Responses to the question, What was enjoyed most?: "How he got started writing. All the work involved with writing." "To hear about the books he has written." "The telling of the author's own experiences." Reponses to the question, What was learned?: "Never read his books, sounds like they would be good." "How the author became a published author successfully by doing self-publishing."
Pioneerland Library System and Kerkhoven Public Library. Partner Organization Contribution/Role in the Program: Kerkhoven Public Library promoted the program through posters and bookmarks; in addition, the Kerkhoven Library provided the space and staff for the program.
