Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)

The intended outcome is to inspire attendees to read, express themselves creatively, and or /explore poetry with a Minnesota poet. A survey was distributed to receive feedback from those attending the programs.

Measurable Outcome(s)

Surveys were distributed to participants at all programs. 72% strongly agreed that this was an enjoyable experience and 78% strongly agreed that they would attend a similar event. Comments: My children and I are very appreciative and inspired. I got to meet a writer! A teacher learned that teaching poetry and writing poems is definitely something 2nd graders can and should do! I learned that I enjoy poetry.

Source of Additional Funds
