Things That Go Bump In the Night – Robert Halbrook
Children discovered the rewards found in the pages of books. Bob included trick or treat safety tips as well as the magic tricks and introduced a new way for children to be engaged in reading books.
Twenty-three (23) evaluations were completed by adults. Four-hundred seventy-two (472) students responded to a survey evaluation recorded by adults. Participants enjoyed:"Fast moving – kept the kids attention with a good clear voice. Age appropriate, fun & educational." "This was a great program that really got the kids involved." Pioneerland Library System and New London Public Library, Prairie Woods Elementary School. Partner Organization Contribution/Role in the Program: New London Public Library provided advertisements. Prairie Woods Elementary School provided venue and advertisements to students, faculty, families, and staff. MN Legacy Grant provided funding.
