Evaluations completed: Adults – 21; Children – 7 evaluations completed by adults on behalf of 104 children. Adult evaluations: The question "How would you rate this program?" using a scale of "Great, Very Good, Average, Below Average and Poor." Responses included: Great: 17, Very Good: 3, Average: 1. A unanimously positive response.The question "Would you attend another program of this kind if it were offered?" was asked with the responses: Yes: 17, No: 0, Maybe: 1. A 100% positive response. Children survey responses (not all children responded): The question "How many kids have seen a program at the library before?" 60 children have seen a library program previously. "How many kids would come back to the library for another program?" 92 children said "Yes" they will come back for another library program. "How many kids have checked out books about illustrating before?" 22 children had checked out books on illustrating previously. "How many kids want to check out a book about illustrating or drawing now to learn more about it?" 65 children now want to check out books about illustrating and drawing. Comments from the adult evaluations: What did you enjoy most about this program? "Stating that everyone is different and things do not always have to be the same." "Watching him draw and explain how to draw." "Gary made it easy for the children to understand." "Learning to draw." Responses to the question, What did you learn from attending this program?: "I was amazed at how nice the kids' pictures turned out." "How cartoon characters are brought to life." "That I can draw." "I'm not artistic but I learned a lot about drawing." Responses to the question: What did you think about this program? "Great to experience new techniques and learn new things. Really appreciate it!" "Love this program, will most definitely come again." "This program was awesome!" "It was nice to see so many children involved." "Great! Gary held everyone's attention and interest. Very expressive!" Comments from the kids' surveys: What was your favorite part of the program? Pioneerland Library System and Appleton Public Library, Graceville Public Library, Ortonville Public Library, Friends of the Ortonville Library. Partner Organization Contribution/Role in the Program: Appleton, Graceville and Ortonville Public Libraries promoted the program through posters, bookmarks, radio spots, and newspapers. The libraries also provided space for their respective programs.
