Pioneerland Library System (PLS) allocated 10% of its Legacy Funds to the statewide Strategic Legacy Initiative Partnership Fund. This statewide fund, overseen by the Council of Regional Public Library Directors, was used to coordinate and plan cooperative state-wide programs among the public library regions and its partner the Minnesota Historical Society.

During FY12, Pioneerland featured six (6) programs from the Minnesota Historical Society in the Libraries program. 641 people participated in the programs

During FY12, Pioneerland featured six (6) programs from the Minnesota Historical Society in the Libraries program. 641 people participated in the programs and following are sample responses:
