Project Overview
Artist Ron Benson designed and created a numerous glass panels that celebrate Cook's key artistic, cultural, and historical attributes, to enhance the library building's function as a source for art, culture, and history within the community. The glass sculpture medium honors the Cook community and reinforces the perception of the library as a place to experience the arts, culture and history.

The intended outcome of the Murals and Sculptures program is to produce a lasting public artwork that reflects the community's art, culture, and history, that allows acknowledgement and celebration of community identity and inspires creative reflection.

Measurable Outcome(s)

The artwork has been installed in the windows of the libraries allowing everyone passing by outside and visiting inside the library to be able to enjoy.
