Those in attendance will learn how to plan out their own comic book; learn the importance of pacing in a comic book story; how to let illustrations tell part of the story, while blending in just the right amount of text; how to make character dialogue sound natural and normal; to appreciate the writer’s role in creating a primarily visual story.
Measurable Outcome(s)
Surveys were collected from attendees. The program was rated very high. Attendees commented that they liked that the program was very interactive. Mr. Jacobson was a very good presenter who made learning about the process of writing comic book very fun.
