Project Overview
Staff from the Moorhead Public Library led a passenger bus trip to the Minnesota History Center on April 25, 2015. The bus arrived at the History Center around 10:30am where the tour group had ample time to explore the exhibits as well as an optional 30 minute guided tour. The bus arrived back at the library at approximately 8pm.
Exhibits at the center include: Toys of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s; Minnesota’s Greatest Generation; Open House: If These Walls Could Talk; Weather Permitting; Grainland; Then Now Wow; Sights, Sounds and Soul: Twin Cities Through the Lens of Charles Chamblis.

Attendees will gain: increased knowledge and awareness of the Minnesota Historical Society, increased awareness of different aspects of Minnesota’s history and people as demonstrated in the exhibits, an opportunity for individuals to visit the center who might not otherwise be able.
Measurable Outcome(s)
Participants were given evaluations to fill out. All evaluations rated the trip very highly. Attendees enjoyed learning about Minnesota history and several were appreciative of the free admission, as they would not have been able to go the museum otherwise.
