Presentations by renowned musician, Paul Imholte, were delivered to nine different audiences around the region. These presentations based on stringed instruments took place around the LARL region from November 12 to November 14, 2014.

Paul Imholte "The Musical Stringman" will:
create awareness of various string instruments, history and origins of these instruments, and musical styles; create awareness of various music styles; provide a performance appropriate for any demographic and wide appeal ; encourage education and attendance at future arts events; reinforce the idea that libraries are places to experience cultural/arts programming

Measurable Outcome(s)

Surveys were collected from attendees. The program was rated highly. Comments included: The program offered a nice variety of new instruments for the audience to hear that they hadn't heard before. People enjoyed singing along with the program. The presenter was very personable.
