Presentation teaching participants about the art and culture surrounding Amish quilting. This program is scheduled to take place at nine locations across the LARL region from September 16 to September 18, 2014.

The audience will learn why the Amish came to and settled in Minnesota. The audience will hear dialect differences in Amish spoken and written English. The audience will gain greater appreciation of quilting from viewing an Amish quilt collection. The audience will gain greater appreciation of cultural diversity between the Amish and English lifestyles.
