Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)
Attendees will understand the role books, teachers and librarians played in developing and encouraging the artist's early fascination with history and art; get a glimpse into the working process of a picture book artist and historical painter; be made familiar with the story of the First Minnesota Regiment and its charge at the Battle of Gettysburg.
Measurable Outcome(s)
Surveys were collected from attendees. The program was rated high on the surveys. Attendees commented that they appreciated being able to see an illustrator's process. Valuable information was shared about illustration and animation. Attendees appreciated the personal interaction with the audience and commented on David's communication skills.
