Project Overview
Lake Agassiz Regional Library worked with local youth organizations, agencies, and businesses to promote Minnesota author David La Rochelle’s book, Moo!, and to encourage positive early literacy practices. 2,000 copies of the book were distributed around the LARL region from January to May 2015.

Parents, caregivers and kids will be exposed to the talents of Minnesota authors and illustrators David LaRochelle and Mike Wohnoutka. Parents and caregivers will also learn the importance of reading to preschool age children, learn how to read to youth with enthusiasm and learn of the early literacy resources available to parents, caregivers, and youth at the library.
