Project Overview
The Halbrooks will offer a colorful magic show for youth, ages pre-K through early elementary, designed to promote early literacy, interactive learning, and libraries. This program took place at 11 locations in the LARL region over a six-day period from March 17 to March 22, 2014.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)
Youth will introduced to book titles and the joy of reading through a fun and enteraining magic show. Youth will also learn about services offered through their local library. Youth, educators, and other participants will fill out evaluation forms regarding their experience. Library staff will also visit with youth and participants about their experience for anecdotal feedback.
Measurable Outcome(s)
A sample of survey results asking "what did you like best about the program" are: The involvement of the kids; fun kid involvement and reading emphasis; very entertaining and funny; fun good quality show for children and enjoyment for the adults as well.
