Project Overview
Christina Wilson, artist, is formerly from Wells, Minnesota and currently lives in Alaska. She would like to work with the Wells Public Library to host a painting class during her return to the area. Christina showcased some of her work in Wells during the All School Reunion in 2014.

Proposed Measurable Outcome(s)
This program will bring new patrons in to the library, will expose them to a new skill, and will teach them painting techniques. Painting will offer them a way to express themselves and provides a positive, relaxing and memorable experience.
Measurable Outcome(s)
Most participants enjoyed the experience. Over half were new attendees. Comments ranged from 'this is harder than I thought' to 'It wasn't as intimidating as I thought it would be'. It was very enjoyable to see mother/daughter groups participate together.
