Project Overview
Carolina Koopmans from Unwine Creations in Mankato came to the library to do a canvas painting class. The library worked with her to find a design that is easy enough for beginners but challenging enough for someone who has done some painting. It was a great opportunity to expand art into the world of the adult community. Not only were they exposed to the act of painting, but they learned how to mix colors, brush stroke techniques and they were encouraged to be creative.
