Project Overview
Children's author Mary Casanova visited the elementary schools in both Madelia and St James. She also visited the Watonwan County Libraries in St James and Madelia. She discussed why she started to write and how growing up in a family with ten children she was able to find her voice by writing down her thoughts. She also read from her newly released book 'Wake Up, Island'.
