Project Overview
Dementia Friends is about giving more people an understanding of dementia and the small things that could make a difference to people living in their community. 88,000 Minnesotans live with Alzheimer's disease and the number is growing. Seventy percent live at home and need support from their family and community. Whether you have been personally affected, know of people in your community who live with dementia, or just want to learn more, becoming a dementia friend is an easy way to make a positive change in the lives of those around you.
