Project Overview
Based out of Minneapolis, the Teddy Bear Band performs music for children for the 'sincere enjoyment of music'. They do not wear costumes, wanting to connect fully with the children in the audience. The band demonstrates finger plays and other activities that reinforce themes of early literacy. They promote positive self-esteem throughout their performance, encouraging children to 'clap and stomp along'.
