Spring Author Series

Waseca - Le Sueur Libraries hosted a variety of authors for spring author series. International best-selling author of psychological thrillers Brian Freeman discussed his latest book 'Goodbye to the Dead' as well as his other books. Lorna Landvik had the crowd roaring and we received quite a bit of feedback that she was one of the best author events at Le Sueur Library as ever hosted. Cynthia Kraack offered the audience a window into what it's like to be a writer and what inspired her to write. She read from her new book 'The High Cost of Flowers' which gives the reader insight into care giving for a loved one who is suffering from memory loss. Mary Relindes Ellis described her historical fiction novel 'The Bohemian Flats' to the audience. The author eloquently elaborated on her writing process, character choices and personal connections to the material and fostered discussion through the questions from the audience.
