Teen Makerpalooza
Teen Makerpalooza will be a crafting/maker event for teens to dome to the library to create. There will be four sessions: Screen printing/canvas painting, metal stamping, string art, and magic folding cubes. Due to recognizing a decline in teen attendance, but also noticing they 'peek' in to adult craft events, this idea for a teen maker event is to bring teens in to the library with a craft event for them, and the outcome being they are frequent patrons.
44 participated
Teens will:
Enjoy themselves at an all-teen event
Will learn a new skill
Will create a project to take home
New people that have never been to a library program will attend.
All outcomes met. 4 new people that have never attended before were present.
