Viking Library System purchased movie licensing rights for the eleven regional member public libraries in order for them to take advantage of the films being offered by the Minnesota Historical Society as well as other films they may choose to show as part of their Legacy activities.

The public libraries involved in the film festivals are in: Alexandria (Douglas County), Browns Valley, Elbow Lake, Fergus Falls, Glenwood, Hancock, Morris, New York Mills, Pelican Rapids, Perham, and Wheaton.
