KFAI - MinneCulture
Original documentaries about Minnesota's rich cultural heritage focusing on Twin Cities artists and the state's history. KFAI will produce an average of four to six documentaries per fiscal year. These 26- to 28-minutes documentaries air on the station's "MinneCulture" show at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and are shared on Facebook, SoundCloud, PRX and Ampers websites.
$1,600,000 each year is appropriated for a grant to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.19.
Production of 4-6 documentaries that will air during on Monoculture at 7:30PM on Wednesdays. There will continue to be a significant number of listens and interactions on PRX, SoundCloud, and Facebook. KFAI will be collecting feedback from artists and listeners to determine whether our programming helped arts and history thrive in Minnesota.
