KBXE - Call of the Wild
Forty-four pre-produced mini-documentary-style episodes, 6-8 minutes in length, about the creative economy of Minnesota, especially northern MN. Includes interviews with artists, builders, crafters, writers, musicians, those making a living through cultural activities, and other creative ways of living in Minnesota. Will include photographs for online use.
$1,600,000 each year is appropriated for a grant to the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations for production and acquisition grants in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 129D.19.
Survey results will show most respondents agree with these statements: "Has Call of the Wild woven art, culture and history more strongly into your life?" "Does Call of the Wild help arts, culture and history thrive in MN?" "Does Call of the Wild help support a more sustainable climate where artists can live and work?
