Hans Mayer’s ear-tickling, infections music captures the tales of real-life childhood and brings it all back to life with an irresistible sense of humor. Hans’ mellow voice and accomplished playing add to the musical feast.
One location in the SELCO region booked the Hans Mayer Music for Kids programming during FY 2010.
Event Dates and Locations: Rushford Public Library – June 14, 2010
61 patrons attended the event – 19 adults, 37 children, and five infants
Measurable Outcomes may be collected by survey, anecdotal responses, post-test; End user change in Behavior, Attitude, Skills, Knowledge, Condition and/or Status
The results from the survey distributed at the program were overwhelmingly positive. A vast majority agreed the program met expectations, was enjoyable for children of all ages, was of excellent quality and recommendable. The increase of music knowledge was perceived positively, too. All of the children in attendance agreed they’d like to attend more musical programs at the library in the future. The children were interested in various parts of the program. This ranged from one child wanting to know how one could be a singer “for money” while another really enjoyed “mom and dad singing.” The adults raved about the quality of the program. The only suggestion given was to “have more programs like this for all of the family to enjoy.”
