Art & Culture Live!: Community Collaborations - Children’s Music and Show: Safari Band
Children’s Music and Show: Safari Band was designed to bring rural children of the Wabasha area to experience a live band suited to their age group at the behest of the Wabasha Public Library (Wabasha, MN). The Band provided entertainment in the form of various instrumental and vocal music and safari outfits.

Partner Organization(s) Contribution/Role in the Program: Community Education provided publicity for the event. The Arts Association matched funds to bring in the Band.
Program Outputs: Outputs are things you can count such as attendance, number of new participants, and the number of attendees who had never been at a similar event, and so on.
The program had 133 in the audience. Of this, 73 were children and 60 adults.

The children, especially the pre-schoolers, showed their appreciation for the event by singing and dancing with the band.
