Art & Culture Live!: Community Collaborations - Eagle Education Program
Eagle Education Program brought the National Eagle Center staff with an educational program to the Whalan Standstill Parade (Whalan, MN). The program featured a live eagle and provided educational programming on environmental stewardship and community sustainability.

The partners assisted in program development and evaluation as well as with publicity.
The Library added material to their collection to coincide with the program.
Program Outputs: Outputs are things you can count such as attendance, number of new participants, and the number of attendees who had never been at a similar event, and so on.
423 people attended the Eagle program of the 2,000 people at the parade.

The popularity of the program required it extend an additional half hour to accommodate everyone. From the survey that was filled out by 108 visitors, it was uniformly agreed that they enjoyed the program and wanted more educational programs. 83% of respondents gained new knowledge about eagles.
